I stroked out

Well. I totally had a stroke (seriously). The doctors are trying to figure out exactly why a 33 year old non-smoking woman would have a full blown stroke. I’ll be back online when I can gather my thoughts, regain memories (I’ve lost some), etc. (I’m not talking about my initial attempts at gaining equilibrium, either).

See you in a bit.

Hope they determined by now what caused it…I had a minor stroke 2/1 (healthy 40-something) and it was due to osler-weber-rendu (hereditary). Sounds like yours was quite a bit more serious however. Take care!

  10. hi jae–thanks for your concern! it was a hole in my heart, a PFO that caused the stroke (clot traveled up my leg, through the hole, up the aorta into my brain). everything is moving forward, thank you! and i am glad to hear you had a quick recovery and wish you well!
