Rest in Peace, Kurt Vonnegut

Oh, more grim news!

Kurt Vonnegut has died. I just started reading his work and he seems so very alive to me. It’s sad to think there will be no more new books from him.

When I told my husband of this news, he said, “That’s an eerie coincidence.”

Why?

“Because that is what you were “reading” when you had your stroke and at the hospital,” he said.

p.s. Edward Champion has a comprehensive list of Kurt Vonnegut highlights.

You know, I’ve never read anything of his… Perhaps I should add it to my list of reading for our cruise next month…

I recommend “Slaughterhouse Five” and his most recent collection of essays, “Man without a country”
