a good cry

I am having a good cry over an email one of you, my dear readers, sent me. What you said made me feel less lonely and a lot less stupid for what I’ve been feeling.  I am sorry that you do understand what I’m going through, for that means you have suffered surprising loss yourself.

You know who you are. Thank you.

Jade, I’ll sound like a weirdo to say so, but sometimes I’m glad for suffering–afterward! I think it was C. S. Lewis who wrote that suffering carves out the place for joy in a person’s life. I know for sure it makes room for deep gratitudes, and more enjoyment of the moments we have.

I’m glad you got some support, because since I’ve been reading your blog I know I’ve gotten so much out of it. Nice to hear that someone who offers so much is getting something back. :o)

I’m so glad you found me! I was going to drop you an email tonight to let you know where I went … was I so easily findable?

I hope your good cry really WAS good, and that afterwards, you got to have one of those silly, hysterical laughing spots that can ONLY come after a really, truly GOOD cry.

  3. Crying is hope wrapped up in a morass of despair. This will all pass, though it will suck in the meantime.

You are so lucky to be able to have a good cry. IT is a blessing, as you are to the world 🙂

  4. It is said, a good cry cleanses the soul. I don’t know about that but after one, I usually feel better.

I hope you are feeling better too Jade!

  5. I love the calm after a good cry.

I hope you enjoy some peace of mind…and I also hope you find some ease in writing again.

  6. Thanks all. The crying is over for now. Thank Gawd.
